My partner picked these up last week at TJ Maxx, which lowkey always has a peculiar collection of planners and notebooks on clearance. I can’t find much about the product’s maker Bieffe, other than these books are marked “Made in Italy”, but I suspect this isn’t a dedicated stationery company.
These came in a set of three for something like $5 — that’s a steal for all the touches I appreciate: the Techo-ish textured cover, the gold-stamped logo of a magpie atop three books, and the red gilt on the pages.
Pretty fancy for exercise books! Each one of the three notebooks has 60 ruled pages sized around 8.6″ x 6″, enough for a novellette or a few weeks of calculations. They also have a multiplication table in the back, if you have trouble with numbers.
